I just replaced my rear shocks yesterday and wondered the same thing. Called Arnott and was told to just tie them up against car frame away from any major heat source. How difficult was doing the front as I may change mine soon? The rear was very easy, except for the fact that the top nuts on both of the old shocks were rusted very bad and would not come off. Took my dremel tool and several cut off wheels and cut the nuts off. And you would think Arnott would provide new nuts with the new shocks but did not. Took shock to Ace Hardware and matched a new 1 up.
